Easy access controls on the Apple iPod Shuffle 2GB 4th Generation are located on the big, clickable control pad on the front of the device where you can access them quickly. With command central strategically placed in this convenient location, you can navigate your music with ease. Press the centre button to play and pause. Press the outer buttons to skip forward or back and adjust volume.
The Apple iPod Shuffle 2GB now comes with VoiceOver, a feature that gives iPod shuffle a voice. Just press a button and it tells you what song is playing and the name of the artist performing it. This VoiceOver feature even announces the names of your playlists and a free download enables your iPod shuffle VoiceOver to speak in 25 languages - so it can tell you song titles and artists in the correct languages. And if your battery needs charging, VoiceOver tells you that too.
The shuffle switch has three positions. Flip it to the left and your music shuffles, flip it to the middle and your songs play in order, flipping it to the right to turns iPod shuffle off.
If you have multiple playlists in iTunes on your Mac or PC it's easy to load up your iPod shuffle 2GB. Choose the playlists, audiobooks, podcasts and other audio files you want, then sync.
